About Us
Rooted in the Mountains. Made From Scratch.
Notchtop Café originally opened in 1993 and was named after Notchtop Mountain in Rocky Mountain National Park. The Notchtop Mountain peak stands at a height of 12,129 feet in Rocky Mountain National Park.
Today we are known as Notchtop Bakery Café that serves tasty breakfast and lunch. We aspire to use the most naturally grown and fresh ingredients locally available, focusing on organic, in our food. We use only non-genetically modified breads and flours, cane sugars, and pure vanilla. There is NO high fructose corn syrup in our food.
Everything is made from scratch. We slow roast our own turkey, pork, beef, and chicken. Our sausage and hamburgers are handmade. We proudly offer vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan entrees and are able to accommodate most food allergies.
Our goal is that you have a unique and pleasant experience while you relax and dine with us. Our natural, made from scratch recipes, using organic ingredients when possible, take a little time to prepare. So enjoy the view, read a book, talk to a stranger, or simply relax and contemplate life, the food is worth the wait.
Honest food and honest prices we offer visitors the same reasonable prices as our locals.
